Hyundai Motor Company will launch 36 new or updated models in North America through the end of 2030 while its Genesis luxury division plans 22 new models, CEO José Muñoz said in a letter to shareholders.
Muñoz said the next-generation Elantra and Tucson will debut in South Korea this year with U.S. introductions as early as 2027, and Hyundai displayed the body-on-frame Boulder concept at the 2026 New York Auto Show.
Hyundai plans a broad mix of passenger cars, SUVs, trucks and commercial vehicles across gasoline, hybrid, battery-electric and range-extending EV architectures, and will add trim levels including performance N and rugged XRT.
Genesis intends to expand beyond SUVs with new passenger-car derivatives and more trims, the Magma performance lineup will be topped by a production GT concept, and Hyundai Motor Group plans about $26 billion of U.S. investment.
