Hyundai unveiled two Ioniq-branded concept electric vehicles for China—the Venus sedan and the Earth SUV—previewing a new single-curve design language ahead of the Beijing Auto Show on April 24.
Both interiors adopt a modern EV layout: the Venus features a massively wide dashboard screen, a driver-focused cabin with zero physical buttons, chrome‑gold accents and layered mood lighting; the Earth has a smaller center screen and rear swivel "air-hug" seats with soft air modules.
Hyundai did not disclose powertrain or range details and described the two concepts as a "barometer" for Ioniq’s future design in the Chinese market; the company said it will use planet-inspired names for future Ioniq models.
The Venus and Earth mark a clear departure from Ioniq styling used elsewhere, indicating Hyundai may pursue China-specific visual directions for the Ioniq brand.
