Jeep unveiled two new concept vehicles in Moab: the Cherokee Upland, based on the 2026 Cherokee, and the Recon Overwatch, based on the 2026 Recon EV.
The Cherokee Upland features a black lower front fascia, a more robust bumper with integrated tow hooks, rear tow hooks, a unique roof rack system, and 18-inch wheels fitted with 32-inch Falken Wildpeak tires; the changes look production-ready. Jeep described the Cherokee Upland as a "more expressive, adventure-forward vision" for the model, and Jeep's image files were labeled "Jeep KM Trailhawk."
The Recon Overwatch upgrades the Recon EV with a two-inch lift, 34-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires on 18-inch beadlock wheels, custom steel rock rails, underbody skid plates and trail-spec sideview mirrors. Doors are removed, rear glass is deleted and carbon-fiber trim appears on wider fender flares and door jam covers, while aftermarket crossbars and a roof basket add equipment-carrying capacity.
