Riverdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in the Bronx is being sued in federal court by customer Louis Huertas and by GM Financial Services over alleged odometer misrepresentation and unauthorized charges on a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
The complaint says Louis Huertas agreed to buy the 2025 Grand Cherokee L for $49,000 cash, was offered 20% over market value for his trade and a payoff of a $25,116 loan, but was charged $2,400 above the agreed price and nearly $5,000 in unauthorized fees.
GM Financial Services, which backed the deal, contacted Louis Huertas about a mileage discrepancy after delivery, and he found the instrument cluster showed 6,216 miles despite paperwork that allegedly certified 13 miles.
The federal lawsuit alleges the dealership delivered a vehicle with higher mileage and falsely certified the odometer; Automotive News reported details of the complaint.
