Jeep has paused the Wagoneer S for the 2026 model year and plans to bring the all-electric SUV back for the 2027 model year.
A report from Automotive News quotes a Jeep spokesperson saying the brand is "pacing production of the all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S to support future improvements in battery performance, software, and capability." Jeep also said the Wagoneer S will switch to the North American Charging Standard (NACS) to access Tesla chargers when it returns.
The Wagoneer S experienced a sharp sales decline in late 2025 and early 2026, with Jeep selling 10,426 units in the first nine months of 2025 and fewer than 1,000 in the last six months.
Jeep told Automotive News the 2025 Wagoneer S "remains available for purchase and lease at Jeep dealerships without interruption," and Car and Driver has reached out to Jeep for further comment.
