Jensen International Automotive will revive the Interceptor name with an all-new model called the Jensen Interceptor GTX and plans to reveal a pre-production prototype of the 2026 model before the end of June.
Jensen International Automotive, which has restored original Interceptors and retrofitted them with modern V-8s, says the GTX draws styling inspiration from the classic bubble-backed Interceptor and that Jeff Qvale has played a big role in development.
JIA says the clean-sheet 2026 design will feature a hand-built aluminum body, an aluminum chassis, and a bespoke V-8 powerplant, while technical specifications and production timing remain limited.
Jeff Qvale, son of former Jensen Motors owner Kjell Qvale, said the project is personal given his family's ties to Jensen.
