Kondo Ferrari Takes Pole for Second 2026 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers Race

The Kondo Ferrari #45, driven by DTM driver Thierry Vermeulen, took pole for the second race of the 2026 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers with an 8:10.275 lap, edging Saturday pole-sitter David Jahn in the Gamota BMW #23 by 0.001 seconds.

Track conditions improved from a wet morning to largely dry for top qualifying, allowing teams to run slick tires; however, Dunlop Porsche #17 driver Alessio Picariello went off on the warm-up lap and returned to the pits with damage after hitting the guardrail.

Driver Lucas Auer drove the Winward Mercedes #3 in top qualifying while the Scherer-Phx Audi #16 and Manthey Porsche #911 started third and fourth respectively, and the top ten included several Mercedes and Porsche entries; the second 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers race starts at 13:00.
