McLaren to Reveal Combustion Sports Cars and P47 SUV Plans as W1 Deliveries Start

McLaren will begin publicly revealing its long-term product plans this summer, including an all-new lineup of combustion sports cars and a reported SUV, CEO Nick Collins told Autocar as the company starts W1 deliveries.

The first model in the revamped lineup is expected to appear as a concept before reaching production and should arrive before the end of the year, Collins said. McLaren has committed to new combustion sports cars likely including a successor to the 750S, and reports suggest an SUV codenamed P47 will be a five-seat hybrid with Cayenne-like proportions.

Collins added that a dedicated McLaren EV could come "when our customers want one," but electrification is not an immediate priority, and more details are expected later this summer. With new ownership and fresh investment, McLaren appears ready to reset and broaden its lineup.
