Mercedes-Benz Reveals 2027 GLE Refresh with Star-Shaped Lighting and MBUX Superscreen

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the refreshed 2027 GLE and GLE Coupe, which feature approximately 3,000 new or revised components including a larger chrome-framed grille with an illuminated Mercedes logo, new side mirrors, and star-shaped headlight and taillight designs.

Mercedes-Benz says the updated headlights use its latest lighting technology, reducing weight by about 25% and cutting energy use by roughly 50%, and add a partial high-beam function and improved cornering light; the GLE carries two stars per taillight compared with three on the GLS.

Inside, the 2027 GLE receives the MBUX Superscreen that integrates driver, center and passenger displays into a near-continuous panel while retaining a physical steering-wheel volume control; base-model seats have updated upholstery and new color and wheel options are available.
