MotorTrend recorded an episode of The InEVitable inside a 2022 Tesla Model Y to test Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta 14.2 with MotorTrend host Ed Loh onboard.
A host engaged the car's FSD by pressing a steering-wheel button and tapping the touchscreen to command "Drive here," and the Model Y navigated to an initially selected destination and Tesla's FSD handled a more challenging second route.
MotorTrend said Tesla's FSD 14 performed impressively in the on-road test, handling complex driving segments well while producing a few errors and lighthearted moments during the run.
The on-vehicle test, featuring Ed Loh, is presented on MotorTrend's vodcast The InEVitable and is available on MotorTrend's YouTube channel and as an audio podcast.
