Felipe Nasr, driver for Porsche Penske, won the 12 Hours of Sebring in the No. 7 Porsche Penske 963 after reclaiming the lead from teammate Kevin Estre late in the race.
Nasr and his announced 2026 teammates, drivers Julien Andlauer and Laurin Heinrich, drove the No. 7 to its second consecutive victory of the 2026 season, adding to Porsche Penske's recent run of top results.
Porsche Penske executed a late strategy split, pitting the No. 7 before the No. 6 and radioing Nasr to pull away then swap so Kevin Estre, driver of the No. 6 963, could run on fresh tires; Nasr later passed Estre with about 1 hour and 5 minutes remaining. When asked on Peacock about retaking the lead, Nasr said he had followed instructions but "I don't want to lose the race" and that he wanted to win for the team.
The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R, with Jack Aiken, driver, closed on the lead and the No. 6 later received a penalty for cutting the course, being ordered to cede position to the No. 31.
