Nissan Rogue 2027 to Bring E-Power Series-Hybrid SUV to U.S. with AWD

Nissan will launch the 2027 Rogue in the U.S. with its e-Power series-hybrid powertrain, and the new Rogue will be offered initially only as a hybrid while the outgoing gas-only model remains in production.

Exterior photos show revised front- and rear-end styling with headlights integrated into the grille and grid-like taillights tied to a D-pillar design element, and Nissan has not yet released interior images.

The e-Power system is a series hybrid that uses a gasoline engine to generate electricity while electric motors drive the wheels; the U.S. Rogue gains a more powerful setup and dual electric motors for all-wheel drive.

Automotive News reports the 2027 Rogue will be hybrid-only at launch with a nonhybrid version to follow later, and Nissan previously sold a 2026 Rogue Hybrid as a rebadged Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid.
