Racing Bulls to Bring Upgrades in Miami and Montreal After April Break

Racing Bulls will introduce a substantial upgrade package in Miami (May 1-3) and a follow-up upgrade in Montreal (May 22-24), Racing Bulls boss Alan Permane told media including Motorsport.

The Miami upgrade was originally planned for Bahrain but was delayed when the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian grands prix were cancelled, creating an enforced April break. Permane said the break allowed Racing Bulls to build more sets of the Miami components and to keep a separate Montreal update on schedule.

Permane said the team cannot bring both upgrades simultaneously and expects to replace the Miami parts quickly when the Montreal package arrives. Racing Bulls currently sits seventh in the championship after three rounds, four points behind fourth-placed Haas in a tight midfield battle.
