Slate Auto said it will announce official pricing for the Slate Truck in late June and expects first customer deliveries around the end of the year.
The company disclosed the timing in an email to deposit holders but did not list a price, while its website continues to state a "Blank Slate" will cost in the mid‑twenties.
Slate Auto originally projected about $20,000 for the pickup tied to a now‑expired federal EV tax incentive, and the company said the final price will be higher than that earlier figure. Customers can reserve a first‑batch Slate Truck with a refundable $50 deposit on the Slate Auto website, and the company warned spots for initial deliveries will be gone soon.
