The Prius PHEV Racing Series, a one-make spec championship for the latest-generation Toyota Prius, has been running across South Korea in support of the Superrace Championship after debuting at Everland Speedway in April. The series has visited venues including the Korea International Circuit.
Fields average 15–17 entrants and peaked at 18, with driver experience ranging from rookies to veterans; the Prius PHEV Racing Series cars show visible race prep—performance Bridgestone tires, upgraded brakes and suspension, full cages and harnesses—while power appears to remain at the stock 194 horsepower.
