Stellantis to Pay Some Salaried Bonuses Despite $26.5b 2025 Loss, Drawing UAW Ire

Stellantis confirmed some salaried, nonunion employees will receive divisional and individual performance bonuses at the end of March despite the automaker reporting a $26.5 billion loss in 2025 and no company-wide SAIP payout.

Stellantis spokesperson Jodi Tinson said the Stellantis Annual Incentive Plan (SAIP) is driven by company, division and individual performance pillars, and that the company component will not be paid because overall 2025 targets were not met. Rich Boyer, United Auto Workers vice president who oversees the Stellantis department, said he was "disgusted" that management employees would receive bonuses while Stellantis UAW members did not receive profit-sharing. United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain called the decision the "epitome of corporate greed" in a statement to the Detroit Free Press.
