Stellantis Posts Q1 Sales Gain as Dodge Durango Drives Brand Momentum

Stellantis reported more than 305,000 vehicle sales in Q1 2026, a 4% year‑over‑year increase, with strong demand for the Dodge Durango boosting Dodge brand volumes.

Dodge expanded the Durango lineup, reintroduced the 6.4‑liter engine, made the Hemi largely standard, and returned a Hellcat variant while continuing assembly in Michigan. Durango's 48% increase equated to about 6,600 additional units and helped produce Dodge's Q1 volume of 22,693 vehicles, while the Charger rose 59% with just under 1,700 sold.

A sizable share of Durango sales likely went to fleets after Dodge kept the Pentastar V6 for fleet customers and later made the V6 available to retail buyers. Stellantis's Q1 volume remains below earlier peaks—330,000 in Q1 2024 and 405,000 in Q1 2022—indicating a gradual recovery.
