Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of non-alcoholic substances after his Land Rover Range Rover SV clipped a parked flatbed tow truck's deployed ramp and rolled on its side near his Jupiter Island, Florida, home; no injuries were reported.
Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said officers arrested Woods at the scene, and Woods was later charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful urine test.
During NBC Sports' broadcast of the golf event, the network mistakenly showed footage from Woods' 2021 crash in a Genesis GV80; lead play-by-play announcer Dan Hicks corrected the record and NBC apologized for the error.
Woods' 2021 Genesis GV80 crash occurred at much higher speed and caused multiple fractures to his legs and feet, while Friday's rollover produced no reported injuries.
