TikTok creator @mainecoondadd says Mavis Discount Tire reimbursed him $111 after a sway bar link repair on his wife's Cadillac was left loose and he confronted the store manager.
He says his wife took the Cadillac to Mavis Discount Tire in February for four new tires, and technicians reported a broken sway bar link that was replaced before the clunking noise returned.
After Mavis later attributed the noise to a strut mount, @mainecoondadd says a local mechanic found the sway bar link had not been tightened and he paid $111 for that diagnosis.
He says he provided the receipt, returned to the store after no response, and that the manager handed him $111 while using profanity as he was told to leave; he posted the interaction on TikTok.
