Toyota Celica GT411: Ryan Tuerck Fits GR Corolla Powertrain, Takes Second at FAT ICE Race

Pro drifter Ryan Tuerck debuted a 1994 Toyota Celica fitted with a GR Corolla powertrain and rally-ready suspension, the GT411, at the FAT Ice Race in Big Sky, Montana, finishing second.

The GT411 started from a stripped USDM sixth-generation Celica GT shell and was built to evoke the 1990s Celica GT-Four, with the project documented on Tuerck’s YouTube channel.

A GR Corolla 1.6-liter G16E turbo-three produces about 500 hp in low boost and 600 hp at full boost, aided by a Garrett G30-770 turbo, Teixeira Fabrication exhaust and forged internals.

Wavetrac differentials, a Holinger sequential gearbox, a new floorpan, tubular rear subframe, roll cage and carbon fiber panels enabled the AWD conversion and competitive debut.
