Summer's video shows the Tacoma with 77,000 miles; she says she bought it new and kept it in "literally like perfect condition," and the clip has drawn nearly 410,000 views.
She says the CarMax transaction took about three hours rather than the expected hour and required arranging an Uber home while she was on crutches, adding roughly $40 in fares.
Commenters compared CarMax's offer to private-market listings they said reached the low $30,000s or higher, while others noted that outstanding loans can complicate private sales and title transfer.
