Nissan’s 2027 Rogue Debuts with E-Power Series-Hybrid and Sharper Design

Nissan revealed the fourth-generation Rogue at its Vision Event in Japan and said the 2027 Rogue will arrive in the U.S. and Canada in late 2026 with the e-Power series-hybrid.

The new Rogue replaces both the short-lived plug-in-hybrid that was a rebadged Mitsubishi Outlander and the current Rogue introduced in 2020, and Nissan is bringing e-Power to North America after nearly two million global sales since 2016.

Nissan showed an angular exterior featuring a wide V-shaped grille, hexagonal air inlets flowing into the headlights, pronounced fenders, six-spoke wheels and a teased full-width taillight bar of trapezoidal segments.

Nissan said it will keep technical specifications private for now and described the Rogue e-Power as a series hybrid where a gasoline engine acts only as a generator to power batteries and two electric motors, promising the model "will pair the dependability, practicality and versatility customers expect from the nameplate."
