Nissan said it will produce an all-new Xterra in the United States and is exploring a family of up to five U.S.-built body-on-frame models, while confirming the 2027 Rogue ePower will use a series-hybrid powertrain.
The company said the all-new rugged Xterra will be produced domestically with a launch targeted for late 2028, strengthening Nissan’s manufacturing footprint for North American customers.
Nissan said the model family could expand to pickups and multi-row SUVs across Nissan and INFINITI brands and will offer V6 or new V6 Hybrid powertrains on the new body-on-frame platform.
The automaker also teased a new Skyline at the same event; Ivan Espinosa is Nissan’s new CEO.
