Jensen International Group announced its new performance car will be called the Interceptor GTX and said the pre-production prototype will debut in the second quarter.
The Interceptor GTX will use an aluminum chassis with a hand-built aluminum body and will be powered by a bespoke V8, though Jensen International Group has not disclosed specifications. Jensen said the design draws inspiration from the original Interceptor but is a fresh model rather than a continuation.
David Duerden, Managing Director of Jensen International Group, said the 2026 Interceptor GTX "blends traditional craftsmanship and modern technology" and that the company will reveal an ultra-high-performance pre-production prototype very soon.
Jensen International Group says the GTX is aimed to compete with Aston Martin, and Motor1 noted the entry places Jensen into a crowded ultra-luxury GT segment with established rivals.
