Nissan 2027 Rogue Hybrid E-Power Brings Series-Hybrid EV Driving with Gas Range Extender

Nissan will offer the 2027 Rogue Hybrid E-Power first, replacing the 2026 Rogue hybrid and preceding a standard gas Rogue in the lineup.

The 2027 Rogue Hybrid E-Power features a series-hybrid powertrain with electric motors at the front and rear that drive the wheels. A small turbocharged three-cylinder engine powers and recharges the battery pack and can feed power directly to the electric motors if the battery is depleted.

The E-Power is designed to deliver an EV-like driving experience while using the gasoline engine as an on-board range extender and allowing refueling at conventional gas stations.

Motor1 said the 2027 Rogue’s styling improves on the 2026 plug-in hybrid and called the E-Power a promising extended-range electric variant that could sell well.
