Supercars Clears Toyota Supra After Parity Trigger; Camaro Could Be Adjusted Ahead of Ruapuna

Supercars concluded its parity investigation triggered by the Toyota GR Supra after Walkinshaw TWG driver Ryan Wood's maiden Supercars win at Taupo and found no adjustment to the Toyota package was required.

The parity review uses a rolling six-race lap-time calculation across Ford, General Motors-Chevrolet and Toyota, and the trigger activated after Wood's victory.

Chevrolet's Camaro remains the only car that could face parity changes and might be adjusted as soon as the fourth round at Ruapuna; Team 18 driver Anton De Pasquale was the best-placed Camaro at Taupo.

Supercars and the three manufacturers ran off-season aerodynamic tests at the Windshear wind tunnel in North Carolina, which Supercars said achieved aerodynamic parity, and the championship resumes at Ruapuna with four races, including a makeup for a cancelled Taupo race.
