Tolman Engineering Restores One-Off Honda Integra Type R to Better-Than-New

Tolman Engineering has completed a one-off sympathetic restoration of a Honda Integra Type R, returning the B18C-powered coupe to a better-than-new condition after 740 hours.

Tolman cleaned rusty metalwork, reinstated structural components, replaced all rubber seals and trim, and added extra sound deadening before respraying the car Sorrento Green to match the owner's Tolman Edition Peugeot 205 GTI. The B18C four-cylinder engine was refreshed and dyno-tested to confirm it delivers the factory-rated 190 hp.

Tolman Engineering fully refurbished the suspension, refinished the 15.0-inch Enkei wheels, fitted Michelin tires and ran the Integra Type R for a 100-mile validation test to confirm the work. The project preserves the original character while restoring performance and reliability.
