Toyota Yaris Cross Facelift Adds LED Styling, Interior Upgrades and Single 128bhp Hybrid

Toyota has updated the Yaris Cross with refreshed exterior styling, interior upgrades and a simplified hybrid range, and Toyota UK says orders open this autumn.

The facelift adds LED headlights with C-shaped daytime running lights and a honeycomb grille to align the Yaris Cross with Toyota’s newer models. Sports seats are now standard on Design, which also gets ambient lighting and a wireless phone charger; Excel gains a power-opening boot and electric folding mirrors are standard across the range.

Toyota has dropped the 116bhp 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid, leaving the 128bhp hybrid introduced in 2024 as the only option. The 128bhp unit is offered with front- or four-wheel drive, the latter using a rear electric motor for traction while total power output remains unchanged.

Prices are unconfirmed but Toyota UK expects modest increases for Icon and Design after the 116bhp option was dropped. Toyota UK cited expected prices around £27,295 for Icon and £29,775 for Design, with Excel topping out near £33,180.
