The 2021 Karma Revero GT, a reborn Fisker Karma, remains in production and pairs twin permanent-magnet electric motors with a BMW-sourced 1.5-liter turbo generator and a 28 kWh battery.
Chinese company Wanxiang bought the rights and tooling in 2014, moved production to Moreno Valley, California, and relaunched the car as the Revero in 2016, elevating Karma from model name to brand. To date, Karma has produced about 1,100 Reveros and features AI concept models on its website.
The twin electric motors produce a combined 404 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque, and Karma upgraded the battery from 21 to 28 kWh while replacing the original 2.0-liter generator with the BMW 1.5-liter unit in 2020. Exterior and interior revisions include a redesigned front end and more conventional leather-and-fabric trim compared with the earlier Fisker interior.
