Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC: 795‑HP Supercharged Track Mustang From $103,490

Ford has unveiled the Mustang Dark Horse SC, a track‑focused Mustang powered by a hand‑assembled supercharged 5.2‑liter V8 producing 795 horsepower and 660 lb‑ft, with a starting price of $103,490.

The powertrain pairs the 5.2‑liter V8 with a Tremec seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission, and Ford says the Dark Horse SC was developed alongside the Mustang GTD and Mustang GT3 for track use. SC‑specific bodywork includes an aluminum hood with a carbon‑fiber vent that produces 2.5 times the downforce of the standard Dark Horse vent and a removed rain tray.

An optional Track Pack adds Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, carbon‑ceramic brakes, a rear‑seat delete and carbon‑fiber wheels for a 150‑pound weight reduction, bringing the Dark Horse SC with Track Pack to at least $139,990. A Special Edition raises price to $170,970, and at Track Pack pricing the Mustang Dark Horse SC is compared with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 variants.
